The manufacturing process of lead-acid batteries is very complicated, with many production steps, and each production step contains many small processes.

1. Lead and lead alloys
The lead used in the production of lead-acid batteries can be pyro-refined lead or electrolytically refined lead, with a lead content of 99.994% and no harmful impurities such as copper and iron. Pure lead is mainly used in the manufacture of lead powder and casting welding and is also used in the preparation of lead alloys.
Lead alloy is mainly used to make positive and negative grids and various lead parts. The lead content of the lead alloy is above 95%. The others are mainly one or several kinds of calcium, tin, and aluminum, which are prepared according to specific needs.
